Sam Garcia is the founder and CEO of Home Equity Lending News, a startup trade news publication that covers home-equity and second mortgage lending as well as home-equity investments. He also works with journalists from other news publications on cutting edge first mortgage and banking topics to arrange interviews with subject-matter experts. His media career began in 1998, when he founded Mortgage Daily, the mortgage industry’s first-ever online-only news publication, where he served as publisher until its sale in 2021.
